Rockland County Receives $122,529 Grant for Emergency Preparedness

A resolution approving an Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) of $122,529 to provide the County with all-hazard emergency preparedness assistance was signed last week by Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services Director Chris Kear and County Executive Ed Day. 

The grant is from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Federal Emergency Management Agency and is administered by the New York State Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services.
