Rockland County Purchases 11.83 Acres of Davies Farm Property

Rockland County recently paid four million dollars for 11.83 acres of vacant residential land belonging to Davies Farm, Inc., which has been selling off residential parcels since the 1930s.

During his recent State of the County address, County Executive Ed Day mentioned plans for  Rockland County to acquire additional Open Space. 

The largely wooded property with a pond at 20 New Valley Road in New City is located to the west of Little Tor Road between a mixed-use commercial project and Link Elementary School.

No plans regarding the new property purchase have been publicized.
