The Rockland County District Attorney's office hosted its second Annual Legislative Breakfast for Rockland County elected officials on Friday, November 18.
Breakfast attendees included town supervisors and representatives from each of Rockland's five towns, Rockland County legislators, and state elected officials.
The legislative breakfast took place at Rockland Community College and featured presentations from senior assistant district attorneys and investigators from the Rockland County District Attorney's Office. They focused on various units in the office, crimes and trends in Rockland, updates on recent trials, community affairs and outreach, and closing remarks from District Attorney Tom Walsh. After the presentation, elected officials were invited to speak directly with members of the office and ask questions.
The District Attorney's Office plans to hold similar forums that will be open to the public in the future.
