Rockland County Approves Construction of Firefighter Memorial

Rockland County Executive Ed Day joined Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco, Director of Facilities Management Bob Gruffi, Director of the Office of Fire and Emergency Services Chris Kear, and volunteer firefighters on Friday to approve the design and construction of the new Rockland County Firefighter Memorial.

The new memorial will be located on the grounds of the Rockland County Courthouse and will honor Rockland's fallen firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice.
