Rockland Chesed Network (RCN). Celebrated its first-anniversary last night at the sixth annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors Barbeque. In just a year, the organization's accomplishments speak for themselves as it successfully unified the plethora of services previously attributed to Tomche Shabbos under the broad umbrella of RCN.

RCN now oversees a broad gamut of organizations, including Bobbies Place, Partners in Parnosoh, Monsey Camp fund, Emergency Financial Assistance, Pesach Fund, Utility Fund, Chodesh Food Outlet, Simcha Initiative, Gown Gmach, and of course, Tomche Shabbos itself along with many other unique Rockland chesed organizations now united under RCN.

"It was my second time joining a Rockland Chesed Network/Tomche Shabbos Of Rockland County Annual BBQ and my first as Senator," Senator Bill Weber posted on social media. ."I also attended their dinner at the Atrium back in January. RCN assists families by providing food packages, job training, and many other free services. I'm proud to continue supporting their work and am looking forward to their next event!"

This year's hugely successful sixth annual Neighbors Helping Neighbors Barbeque took place on Sunday, June 4, at the Minisceongo Golf Course in Pomona, while the one-of-a-kind Womens Night Out will take place tonight at the same place. The week will be rounded off by RCN's one major fundraising campaign on Wednesday, June 7, and Thursday, June 8.
