Rockland Celebrates Youth With 22nd Annual County Youthfest

Rockland County families joined the 22nd annual celebration of youth during the Annual Youthfest presented by the Rockland County Youth Bureau. 

The event took place on Sunday, June 12, at the Town of Ramapo’s Clover Stadium – home of the New York Boulders, in Pomona.

Families enjoyed viewing the interactive demonstrations and informative displays at the various booths.

Live entertainment; giveaways; hands-on, age-appropriate activities, including Inflatable Party Adventures; and Montefiore Nyack’s Teddy Bear Hospital provided creative outlets throughout the day. 

Over 25 County of Rockland Departments were on hand, including the County Executive Youth Bureau, Fire and Emergency Services, Social Services, Health, Public Transportation, Highways, Personnel, and the Board of Elections.

“This event is a great way to celebrate families and Rockland youth,” says Legislator Aron Wieder. “The turnout was impressive. Even the weather cooperated.”
