Roadwork Alert: Lane Closures Suspended Across New York State for Holiday Weekend

All construction-related lane closures for roads and bridges across New York State will be suspended until Tuesday, September 6, to make traveling over Labor Day Weekend easier.

The suspension will help alleviate some of the chronic traffic congestion that plagues the Labor Day holiday weekend.

Emergency repairs will be allowed to continue behind permanent concrete barriers.
