Roadwork Alert: Eckerson Road to Undergo Gas Main Installation Project

After repaving Eckerson Road yesterday, as reported by Rockland Daily here, the Town of Ramapo notified residents that the Orange & Rockland Utilities Gas Main Installation project on Eckerson Road in Spring Valley will begin today.

According to the Town of Ramapo Supervisor's Office, the company contracted to carry out this project will be approaching the Eckerson Road intersection at which point they will need to spend several days working on the county road.

The map here points out the detoured route so that drivers can do their best to avoid the areas marked on the map for the Orange and Rockland project.
