Road Closures Will Prevent Regular and Emergency Vehicle Passage Starting Today

Pay attention before driving in central Monsey during the two-week road closure beginning Monday, October 31. 

The intersection of Carlton Road and Dover Terrace will be closed for work, as well as the junction of Carlton Road and Waverly Place. Emergency vehicles will not have access to these roads either. 

Detour Routes: 

If approaching the construction zone from Carlton Road eastbound, take a right on Briarcliff Drive, left on Cameo Ridge Road, and a left onto Blauvelt Road. 

If approaching the construction zone from Blauvelt Road southbound and prevented turning west on Carlton Road, continue on Blauvelt Road, take a right onto Cameo Ridge Road, and another right onto Briarcliff Drive.

If approaching the construction zone from Blauvelt Road northbound and prevented turning west on Carlton Road, continue on Blauvelt Road, take a left onto Cedar Lane, a right on Dover Terrace, a left on Calvert Drive, and a left on Sands Point Road.
