Ramapo Police Department Welcomes Five New Officers

The Ramapo Police Department welcomed five new officers last week.

Police Officer Clifford, Police Officer Silhan, Police Officer Accardi, Police Officer Kelly, and Police Officer Tursi were sworn in Thursday morning.  

All five officers come with previous law enforcement experience. Police Officers Clifford, Silhan, and Accardi served with the NYPD. Police Officer Kelly served with the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, and Police Officer Tursi served with Greenwood Lake Police Department and Tuxedo Police Department

After the ceremony, Chief Reilly presented each new officer with the book, Emotional Survival for Law Enforcement by Kevin M. Gilmartin.
