Ramapo Police Department Celebrates Career of Police Officer Morse

By Rockland Daily Staff

Officer Chris Morse celebrated his retirement this week with fellow officers of the Ramapo Police Department.

Officer Morse began working as a police officer with the New York Police Department's 52nd Precinct in August of 1998. He became an officer for the Ramapo Police Department in January of 2000 and was recognized many times throughout his career for excellent police work.

"Officer Morse spent most of his career assigned to our steady midnight tour," Ramapo Police Chief Martin Reilly shared with Rockland Daily. "He's done a great job serving our community, not only as a Ramapo Police Officer, but as a volunteer firefighter as well. All of us at Ramapo PD wish him a happy and healthy retirement."
