Ramapo Police Department Bike Patrol Hits the Road

Now that nicer weather has finally kicked in, Rockland County residents can look out for the Town of Ramapo Police Department's team of dedicated Bike Patrol Officers.

The highly trained officers on two wheels who are now out and about are actively patrolling neighborhoods throughout the Town of Ramapo. Bike Patrols during Memorial Day weekend included rolling through the Village of Kaser, New Square, and the Route 59 business area. 

The Bike Patrol officers take the community's safety to a whole new level while also enhancing community engagement. The agility and accessibility of an officer on a bike allows them to navigate through tight spaces, connecting with residents and businesses on a more personal level.
