Ramapo PBA Adds to Celebration of National EMS Week for Hatzoloh EMS of Rockland

In a thoughtful effort to add to the celebration of National EMS Week, the Ramapo Police  Benevolent Association (PBA) made a special delivery to Hatzoloh EMS of Rockland to drop off some gourmet delicacies for the volunteers. 

May 21-27, 2023, is the 49th annual National EMS Week, first authorized by President Gerald Ford in 1974. The week is meant to celebrate EMS practitioners and their vital work in our nation's communities. This year's theme for the week is EMS: Where Emergency Care Begins. 

“The strong relationship between the Ramapo PBA and Hatzoloh EMS, Spring Hill Ambulance Corp, W.P. Faist Ambulance Corp, and Rockland Paramedic Services extends beyond emergency response," Ramapo PBA President Julianne Franklin shares with Rockland Daily.  "The Ramapo PBA and all of our EMS partners actively engage in community outreach initiatives, educational programs, and public awareness campaigns. By working together, we all proactively address safety concerns, raise awareness about important health issues, and promote a sense of unity within our community. These partnerships serve as an inspiring example of what can be achieved when organizations with shared objectives come together for the greater good.”
