The Ramapo Police Department has been working closely with Chaverim of Rockland to find the individuals responsible for a recent rash of car break-ins that began last motzei Shabbos. The pair of thieves, one male and one female, were tracked through video surveillance cameras, making their way from street to street and breaking into car after car. The video footage allowed detectives to track down the thieves through their license plate.
"I want to personally thank law enforcement and all the public servants who were involved in cracking this case," Village of Chestnut Ridge Deputy Mayor Chaim Rose shares exclusively with Rockland Daily. "It is due to the efforts of the dedicated public safety officers and the tireless volunteers of Chaverim that the community can feel confident in its ongoing safety."
