New York Polling Policy Changes for Upcoming 2022 Elections

by Rockland Daily Staff

The Board of Elections (BOE) has changed polling sites for many New York voters since the June primary election.

To find your polling site and hours for both early voting and primary day, use the online BOE lookup tool at https://vic.ntsdata.com/home/Rockland and enter your address. You can also call Voter Phone Bank at 1-866-VOTE-NYC (1-866-868-3692).

The deadline to vote by mail or get an absentee ballot is Monday, August 8. Voters can request an absentee ballot online, by mail, email, or fax. Go to https://rocklandgov.com/departments/board-of-elections/absentee-ballots/ to request this option.

The deadline is Monday, August 22, to request an absentee ballot in person at the Board of Elections.

Early voting begins Saturday, August 13, through Sunday, August 21. Remember to confirm your polling site and hours of operation as they may have changed since the June primary election.
