New Viznitzer Shtiebel Opens in Spring Valley

This past Shabbos, Parshas Pinchos, a new shtiebel of the Viznitz-Monsey Chassidus opened in the Spring Valley area with the blessing and encouragement of the Viznitzer Rebbe, shlit”a.

The Beis Medrash is situated on Union Road at the corner of Stonehouse Road and was established by the rebbe for the purpose of providing Chassidim from that area a shtiebel where the kehillah would daven according to the nusach and minhagim of Viznitz, and serve as a place of Chassidic gatherings as well.

In honor of the first Shabbos at the new shtiebel, the Rebbe sent his son, Rav Moshe Hager, shlit”a, a maggid shiur in the Viznitzer Yeshiva, to join the shalosh seudos gathering,. The Rebbe will be appointing an official rov for this shul in the coming weeks.
