New Kaser Shuttle Routes Begin Today

by M.C. Millman
The four shuttle routes beginning and ending in Kaser Village launched today to give residents a more affordable way to get around town.
These routes include stops at popular shopping centers and other destinations, such as Costco, Bingo, Walmart, Town Hall, and Good Samaritan offices.
The local route runs every half hour; the local shopping route runs every hour; the Walmart/Suffern route runs at 10:30/12:30; the Bingo/Costco route runs at 11:30/1:30.
The fares are reasonably priced, with an adult fare as low as $1 for local, $2 for local shopping, and $4 for long distance. The maximum amount per family is $3 for local, $6 for local shopping, and $12 for long distance. The program also offers half-off discounts for seniors, disabled individuals, medicare recipients, and children ages 3-12. Children under the age of 3 can ride free.
