New Hempstead Road Closes Temporarily From Ellington Way to Adele Boulevard

There will be a temporary road closure of New Hempstead Road between Ellington Way and Adele Boulevard from Thursday, September 1, through Friday, September 2. 

The closure will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday and will occur intermittently in 15 to 20-minute intervals while trucks deliver large water treatment equipment to a project site at 653 New Hempstead Road in New Hempstead. 

The total shutdowns required will be an estimated two per day. Flaggers will direct traffic at each end of the detour route. They will also reopen the road to traffic in between truck deliveries.
