Monsey Hatzaloh Member Treats Unconscious Passenger on Flight

By Sarah Morgenstern

When an airline passenger fainted during the flight from Newark, NJ, to Phoenix, Arizona, on Feb. 2, Monsey Hatzolah member David Blau, who was on board, came to the rescue, Yeshiva World News reported.

The situation was so serious that the pilot had begun to initiate protocols to make an emergency landing, so that the unconscious passenger could receive medical care.

Blau, who is trained as an emergency medical technician, quickly stepped up to provide emergency medical care to his fellow passenger, who swiftly recovered, and the flight was to allowed to travel on, as scheduled.
