By: Rockland Daily Staff
Late Sunday afternoon, a young father and husband from Monsey was swimming with his little children in a private pool. After a short while, family members noticed that he was under the water.
They were unable to pull him out of the water themselves, losing precious minutes until Hatzolah arrived. Responding members performed CPR, and were finally able to find a pulse.
The victim was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was stabilized, and transferred to Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan.
The condition of the 28-year-old man is improved but remains critical.
Monsey Hatzolah put out a notice to the community, reminding all to ensure that their address is clear, and that every pool has Hatzolah’s number posted clearly on the premises.
Minyanim for tehillim were arranged in the overnight hours for the speedy recovery of Alter Naftali Benzion ben Mindel.
