Look for the BLUE Taxi Sticker on Taxicabs within the Village of Spring Valley

The Village of Spring Valley Police department has expressed its commitment to the safety and security of Spring Valley residents and commuters.

The focus is now to ensure taxicabs are authenticated within the Village using a taxicab authentication system. 

Taxicabs that have passed inspection by a Spring Valley Police Officer will be registered with the Village and bear the newest taxi inspection sticker on the upper left-hand corner of the rear windshield.

A legal taxicab will have a blue sticker for the year 2022. To ensure widespread compliance, those taxis lacking the new sticker will be issued fines or summonses per the Village ordinance.
