Kof-K Certification Sues JetBlue for Misuse of Symbol

By: Yehuda Alter

Teaneck, N.J. based Kof-K Kosher Supervision is leveling a severe allegation against popular airline JetBlue, used by many frum Jews:

They’re accusing the airline of selling snacks on board flights with the Kof-K’s symbol—for products that are not Kosher in the first place.

A lawsuit known as Kof-K Kosher Supervision v. JetBlue Airways Corp alleges that JetBlue infringed and diluted its trademarks and that JetBlue engaged in consumer fraud under New Jersey law.

The product in question is artichoke snacks produced by Elma Farms, which is not named in the lawsuit.
