Khal Chassidim of Nanuet Celebrate Opening

By: Yitzy Fried

The Monsey community is expanding by leaps and bounds, with families settling farther and farther beyond the boundaries of old Monsey, into the towns and hamlets of Rockland County—all becoming part of this growing mosaic of Jewish Monsey.

This week, Khal Chassidim of Nanuet inaugurated their Beis Medrash, which is located at 16 Scotland Hill Park in Spring Valley.

The Rov of Khal Chassidim is Rav Chaim Meisels, shlit”a, a son of Rav Shloime Meisels, Rov of Chevra Shas in London. He is the son-in-law of Rav Yaakov Yosef Moskowitz, Borover Ruv.

These Rabbonim, as well as Rabbonim and residents from the area, were on hand for this momentous event as yet another outpost of Torah and tefillah is established in Rockland County.
