Intoxicated Driver Slams Into Spring Valley Building

After striking a building at 63 Eckerson Road at 4:20 a.m., the driver left the scene.

The thirty-six-year-old was later identified and arrested by the Ramapo Police Department. His 2022 Ram pickup was recovered and impounded. His blood alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit. 

The Hillcrest Fire Department responded to the site and declared that the structure had not been damaged. 

The driver was released without bail and told to appear at a future court date.
