Important General Election Information for Rockland Voters

With the General Election coming up tomorrow, Tuesday, November 8, here is what you need to know about voting in Rockland County.
Absentee Ballot
The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot in person at the Board of Elections is today, November 7.
Absentee ballots must be postmarked/mailed by Tuesday, November 8. Absentee ballots may also be returned in person to the Board of Elections during regular business hours or at a poll site. There is also a secure drop box outside the Board of Elections office entrance, but ballots must be dropped off before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, November 8.
The Board of Elections Office is located at 11 New Hempstead Rd, New City, NY 10956.
Election Day
On Tuesday, November 8, all poll sites are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Voters must use their usual poll site unless they have received confirmation of a temporary site change. Only vote on November 8 if you have not yet voted early or by absentee. To find your polling center, use the Polling Place Lookup Tool.
