Free Compost and Mulch Offered to Rockland Residents

As a result of the Rockland Green leaf composting program, free compost and mulch are provided to all Rockland County residents.

The compost and mulch are available to residents only. Landscapers and commercial vehicles are not permitted

Clarkstown residents can pick up mulch and compost free of charge at Germonds Park between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. between April 1 and October 31 until supplies are exhausted. The pick-up area is located between the upper and lower parking areas (on the left side going up the hill).

Other locations can contact their municipality for the pickup location in each town or village.
