Four Rockland Companies Included as Part of 5,000 Fastest Growing Small Businesses in US

Four Heimishe companies in Rockland County have been listed on Inc. Magazine's annual list highlighting the 5,000 most successful, fastest growing independent small businesses in the United States.

U.S.-based privately held companies are ranked according to their percentage revenue growth from the three previous calendar years, with a minimum revenue of $100,000 in 2018 and a minimum of $2 million in 2021.

The four companies from Rockland County listed out of 317 New York companies are ItCon of Spring Valley; Source Corp of Chestnut Ridge; The Everest Equity Company of Suffern; and Advanced Flooring of Valley Cottage. New York's listed businesses represented $13 billion in revenue in 2021 and 35,000 new jobs. Fifty-four businesses from New York were first-time applicants, while 169 were placed on the list in previous years, including The Everest Equity Company of Suffern, which ranked 2,522 with a 228 percent revenue growth over three years and was included on the Inc list for the sixth time. 

ItCon in Spring Valley, a provider of IT support, cybersecurity services, government compliance services, and electronic medical record support to health care practices, was listed for the second time this year. The company ranked 1656 based on its three-year revenue growth of 376 percent. 

Funding Source Corp in Chestnut Ridge is a residential mortgage brokerage firm that originates and processes loans through third-party lenders. It was placed at 3,870 on the list. The company reported a 128 percent revenue growth over three years. 

Advanced Flooring, located in Valley Cottage, placed at 3,795. The wholesale flooring distributor and showroom sells unfinished solid, prefinished solid, engineered wood, vinyl, and laminate flooring. It reported a 132 percent revenue growth over the last three years and has been listed four other times previously.

Winning companies came from all across the United States. Most of the top rankings were in the health, financial, retail, and logistics fields.
