Four Arrested After Robbery and Gang-Related Assault in Spring Valley

Four trespassers armed with a handgun were arrested early Sunday morning after attempting to flee the location in a vehicle.
The Ramapo Police Department arrived at the scene on Singer Lane in Spring Valley at approximately 4:56 a.m., where a victim suffering from multiple injuries was located, as well as an Airsoft replica handgun allegedly discarded by the suspects. The Ramapo Police Investigations Division charged the four men with Robbery 2nd Degree; Gang Assault 2nd Degree, Assault 2nd Degree, Grand Larceny 4th Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4th Degree, Conspiracy 5th Degree, and Menacing 2nd Degree.
The suspects were identified as Isaac Chulca-Rojas, age 38, from Plainfield, N.J.; Christian Lema Leon, a 40-year-old from Haverstraw; Marco Sumba-Salto, a 41-year-old from Haverstraw; and Fabian Velesaca-Urena, a 41-year-old from Queens.
The Honorable Judge David Fried arraigned the four in the Town of Ramapo Court, and bail was set for each defendant.
