Finally, a Kosher Grab’n Go for Palisades Mall Shoppers

By M. C. Millman
Boasting a brand new concept for the mehadrin kosher consumer shopping at the Palisades Mall,
Providing an oasis in the midst of a mall that lacks anything in the way of kosher convenience food, Kosher Korner will be the Palisades Malls’ first full kosher convenience store. The new grab’n go retail market is aiming for a grand opening by next week at the earliest.
Kosher Korner is opening on the bottom floor next to the elevators and close to 7-11.
“I was in the mall one day before Pesach,” Yitzy Pollak, owner of Kosher Korner tells Rockland Daily, “and noticed there was nothing to eat on the go there.”
Three months later, Kosher Korner, the Palisades mall’s first full kosher convenience store stands ready to correct that imbalance.
“We aren’t a restaurant,” says Pollack, “but we’ll have a few tables set away from passing shoppers where people can enjoy their purchases in a comfortable private area.”
The convenience store will sell sandwiches, salads, and drinks including several varieties of coffee, slush, snacks, baked goods including danish, grab’n go ice cream, and a wide variety of snacks and nosh. All items will be strictly kosher and cholov Yisroel. Additionally, the quality will be unmatched for a convenience store.
“My goal is to keep my customers coming back,” says Pollack, “and to that end, Kosher Korner will only carry top-of-the-line, quality products at discounted pricing. Kosher Korner is going to become part of the shopping experience at Palisades Mall - not just an afterthought that comes up after a long day of shopping. ”
