Fatal Accident on Route 59

A fatal accident took the life of a pedestrian who was pronounced dead at the scene after being struck by a tractor-trailer at 4:30 a.m. this morning. 

The accident took place in front of 184 East Route 59 in Spring Valley.

Route 59 between Dutch Lane and Route 45 remains closed while Spring Valley police continue their investigations of the scene.
