Evergreen Uptown Honored With Empire Award From Senator Weber

Senator Bill Weber presented Evergreen Uptown with an Empire Award this afternoon.

Evergreen's award was given in recognition of the chain's communal and charitable endeavors, including the appreciation dinner held last week in support of law enforcement, as reported by Rockland Daily here.

"The Empire Award is the highest honor a State Senator can bestow on a local business," Senator Bill Weber shares with Rockland Daily. "Evergreen stands out in New York's 38th District for its outstanding acts of kindness and charitable endeavors. They are also a major economic boost to our county. I was particularly impressed with their event supporting law enforcement last week and am delighted to present them with this well-deserved honor."

The award was presented at Evergreen Uptown in Pomona to Store Manager Penny Spira.
