Driver Killed in Rollover Crash on Palisades

Authorities confirmed that a 49-year-old Rockland County driver of a 2018 black Lincoln Navigator died in a rollover accident on the Palisades Interstate Parkway early Saturday morning.

The tragic accident happened around 2:30 a.m. The car landed nose-first on the center-median guardrail on the New Jersey side of the Palisades between Exits 1 and 2 north of the Alpine Lookout.  

The driver from Piermont was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other passengers in the vehicle.
