Dezher Rebbe of Eretz Yisroel Headed for Monsey This Shabbos

The Dezher rebbe, on a visit to New York from his home in Eretz Yisroel, will spend Shabbos in Monsey this week, and will stay an extra day to partake in a grand Hachnasas Sefer Torah.

The tefillos and tishen on Shabbos will take place at rebbe’s beis medrash on 29 North Cole Ave. in Spring Valley.

The highlight of the rebbe’s visit is the Hachnasas Sefer Torah which was written by the Wertzberger family. The gala event will begin with writing the final oisiyos from 2:30 until 4 on Sunday afternoon, followed at 4:30 by the singing and dancing through the streets. A seuda will cap the simcha at the Pupa Talmud Torah at 15 Widman Court.
