Clarkstown Police Department Auxiliaries Celebrate 51st Anniversary

Clarkstown Police Department Auxiliaries celebrated the organization's 51st Anniversary.

The police auxiliaries are dedicated community volunteers who assist the Town of Clarkstown police with traffic control at public events and collectively donate over 8,000 hours of service annually.

During the course of the event, Supervisor Hoehmann and Councilmembers Woods, Graziano, and Carroll presented certificates for a number of service milestones achieved, including 10,000 hours of service by Captain Daryl Draper. Ten thousand hours  is equivalent to five years of full-time employment or service.

Additionally, Toni White was congratulated on his retirement after twenty-five years with the auxiliaries.
