Chair of the Rockland County Democratic Committee Steps Down

John Gromada,  Rockland Democratic Committee Chair, has stepped down after a little less than a year on the job. 

In a resignation letter posted online, Gromada says he wants to focus more on his professional career. 

"The best thing about this position has been meeting and working with so many wonderful and talented people and leaders," Gromada says in his resignation letter. "That our Rockland Democratic party has such a wealth of great people gives me faith that despite any one person's absence, the good work will continue- as it must!"

As per the committee's bylaws, First Vice-Chair Schenley Vital takes over until committee members select a new chairperson.
