BREAKING: Legislator Aron Wieder Announces Run for New York State Assembly

By M. C. Millman
During tonight's Democratic Committee meeting in the Town of Orangetown, Legislator Aron Weider appeared to request that they include his petition for his run for the New York State Assembly's 97th District.
"After twelve years serving as Rockland County Legislator," Legislator Wieder tells Rockland Daily exclusively, "it would be my privilege to further my endeavors in public service by serving my constituents in an even higher capacity as New York State Assemblyman. I look forward to working for you and with you in this new capacity where I know I can make a difference and better so many lives."
When asked what the next step would be, Wieder said that he would need to get a minimum of 500 signatures from the Town of Ramapo and Orangetown for his petition in order to be on the November ballot or for the primary in the summer if another candidate chooses to run for the position as well.
