Bobover Ruv Appoints Dayan for Kehillah in Monsey

A sense of joy and optimism enveloped the thriving Bobover kehillah in Monsey with the news that the Ruv has appointed his son-in-law, Rav Chaim Duvid Wachsman, shlit”a, as dayan of the kehillah. 

The appointment took place at the summer residence of the Ruv in White Lake, with the attendance of the Roshei Kehillah of Bobov in Monsey. 

The community has been growing by leaps and bounds, with a Talmud Torah, Bnei Tzion, a girl's school, Bnos Tzion, a Yeshiva K’tana, Ateres Shloime which is named for the previous Bobover Ruv, Kolelim, and chessed organizations. 

This phenomenal growth has brought forth the need for leadership and guidance, which the kehillah will now have in the new dayan. Rav Chaim Duvid is known as a tremendous talmid chochom who has spent years in diligent learning with great hasmodoh, for his avodah in davening, and as a longtime mashpiah in the chassidus.  

As per the wishes of the Ruv, a formal hachtarah event, with the participation of the entire Monsey kehillah, is planned for the coming weeks.
