BDE: Tragedy in Niklosburg, as Rebbes son Succumbs to Illness in Yerushalayim (Replay link to Levaya).
In recent weeks, Klal Yisroel around the world has been storminh the heavens for the refuah of Burech Yehida ben Malka Freida, the son of the Niklosburger Rebbe, shlit”a, who was on a respirator, in critical condition in a Jerusalem hospital.
He was suffering from complications of Corona, on top of a previous illness. An outpouring of chessed, Tefilah, and tzedaka ensued.
A Charidy page requested: “Please Keep on davening and doing Mitzvahs. Increase with Ahavas chaveirim, Shulem and Achdus. (Love peace & unity) Hashem will surely listen”
Alas, after six weeks of lying in a coma, he returned his neshamah to its Maker—leaving behind a broken almanah and six children, a devastated father and siblings, and multitudes of friends and admirers around the world.
He was forty-seven years of age.
He was born in Monsey, the eldest child of his father, the Niklosburger Rebbe, a ga’on, and prize talmid of the Satmar Rebbe, zt”l.
In recent years, he ascended to Eretz Yisroel, fulfilling his long held wish to breathe the holy air.
He is remembered by so many for his heart of gold, a person who would help anyone in need. His ever-present smile melted hearts, and his generous words cheered up so many downtrodden. He always brimmed with emunah and bitachon, persevering in his avodas Hashem despite many challenges.
As his situation deteriorated, his father made his way to his bedside, where he remained every moment until the petirah of his beloved eldest child.
This loss is a devastating one to his family and to his many friends and admirers.
The Levaya will take place at 3:30 Jerusalem time (8:30 am EST). A live link is attached here.
Yehi Zichro Baruch.
