BDE: Rebbetzin Chana Hershkowitz, a”h

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Rebbetzin Chana Hershkowitz, the eishes chover of the Rav Meir Hershkowitz, zt”l, Rosh Yeshiva of Beis Binyomin Stamford, who was niftar last spring.

She was the daughter of Mr. Harry Schiff, a Torah’dige balebos, who raised his children with a burning love for Torah and its scholars. They each went on to become great and accomplished Torah personalities or marry a great talmid chochom.

Throughout their life together, Rebbetzin Hershkowitz was known to support her husband in his learning so that he could dedicate himself wholeheartedly to this endeavor—infusing the Hershkowitz home with simcha and chashivus for Torah.

There was a Levaya in Lakewood on Wednesday night and a Levaya in Monsey at the yeshiva on Thursday morning. The Rebbetzin was flown to Eretz Yisroel for kevurah.
