BDE: R’ Moshe Aryeh Yunger, z”l

We are saddened to inform you of the passing of R’ Moshe Aryeh Yunger, a beloved figure in the Satmar community of Monsey. He was 70 years of age.

The niftar was born to his father, R’ Simcha, in Williamsburg of the postwar era. Sadly his father passed away when he was a young man.

For years, the niftar resided, along with his brother, in the Monsey Park home on Monsey Boulevard.

This being near the Satmar Beis Medrash, they would frequent the shul, becoming beloved figures in the community.

R’ Moshe Aryeh would eat seudos of Shabbos and Yom Yov at the home of the Ruv, Rav Avrohom Hersh Wosner, and of the mispalelim.

He is remembered as a ba’al middos with an extremely pleasant personality, and he loved to learn Torah. He was dedicated to the mitzvah of kibbud aim, regularly going to visit his elderly mother in a monsey nursing home until her recent passing.

The Levaya went out earlier today from the Satmar Beis Medrash at 13 Monsey Boulevard.
