BDE: R’ Eliezer Klohr, z”l
We regret to inform you of the passing of R’ Eliezer Klohr, an ardent Viznitzer Chossid from Monsey. He was in his upper seventies.
He was the son of R’ Shaul Avrohom Klohr and, and the son-in-law of R’ Pinchos Yeshaya Kornbluh, author of the Yiddish book, Father Told Me to Run.
The niftar was known as a talmid chohom who loved to learn. He worked hard for parnassah all day and would come home, and sit down and learn for many hours.
He was an ardent chossid of the Toras Mordechai of Viznitz, and, following his passing, was connected to his son, the Viznitzer Rebbe of London. He would travel there for Yomim Tovim and would not make a move without first consulting the Rebbe.
He established a beautiful generation of children and grandchildren who are chassidic and baalei Chessed.
The levaya took place in front of the Viznitzer Beis Medrash in Monsey on Friday morning.
Yehi zichro baruch.
