By: Yitzy Fried
This morning came the shocking news of the sudden passing of Dr. Dovid Weidenbaum, a renowned and beloved chiropractor in the Monsey area, who helped countless people emerge from their pain. He was in his low 50’s.
His practice in Airmont was known as the Weidenbaum Wellness Center, and it drew patients from throughout the Rockland area. He was known as a professional and dedicated practitioner who was always there for his patients.
The following mission statement appears on Dr. Weidenbaum’s website, and describes his motto for treating his patients:
"While my objective is to provide pain relief as quickly as possible, I take care to determine what is causing the pain and to ultimately correct the underlying cause of the problem. Health is more than the absence of disease. Health is when every function of your body is operating at optimal levels. Optimal health consists of a triangle of factors: physical, mental and chemical. These factors need to be in equilibrium. Health is lost when at least one, and sometimes all three, are out of balance. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, I enhance the integrity of the body's physical health and nervous system. This in harmony with mental and nutritional health can give you a reason to Celebrate Your Health!"
He suffered a heart attack this morning, and was sadly niftar a short time later.
The levaya will take place at the Gur Shteeble on 38 Saddle River Rd in Monsey at 6:30 pm.
