Arrests Made for Vehicle Break-Ins in Rockland

Ramapo police department detectives arrested two individuals on separate charges of breaking into a string of vehicles throughout Rockland dating back to August. 

On Monday, Dainell Blacknall, a 33-year-old from Spring Valley, was arrested following an extensive investigation of vehicle larcenies in the Town of Ramapo and Village of Airmont in August. 

Blacknall was charged with five counts of Grand Larceny, 25 counts of Petit Larceny, six counts of Conspiracy 5th degree, 20 counts of Conspiracy 6th degree, and four counts of Criminal Mischief and is presently being held in Rockland County Jail for an unrelated arrest. 

He will be arraigned in the Town of Ramapo and Village of Airmont Justice Courts on future court dates regarding his most recent arrest.

Daeshawn Outerbridge, a 26-year-old male from Spring Valley, was arrested by Ramapo detectives at the end of August due to an investigation into larcenies from vehicles that occurred during that month. The incidents occurred in the Village of Airmont and the Town of Ramapo. Outerbridge was charged with six counts of Grand Larceny 4th degree, 25 counts of Petit Larceny, seven counts of Conspiracy 5th degree, 20 counts of Conspiracy 6th degree, and three counts of Criminal Mischief 4th degree. He was arraigned before the Honorable Judge Straus. Bail was set, and he was remanded to the Rockland County Jail.
