Arrest Made for Attempted Murder After Frum Yid Stabbed Outside Home

The Ramapo Police Department has made an arrest for the unprovoked attack of a frum Yid, who did not know his attacker, as previously reported by Rockland Daily here.
Elijah Dean, age twenty-three, was arrested Saturday for his murderous attack, which took place on Thursday, April 11, around 8:37 p.m. Ramapo police officers responded to Trailside Place in New City for a reported stabbing attack. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the victim had been stabbed multiple times by an unknown assailant on his head, neck, and body. The victim was transported in serious condition to the hospital.
The Ramapo Police Investigations Division worked together with its detective assigned to the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and his team, as well as the Spring Valley Police Department Detective Bureau. the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, and the Clarkstown Police Department.
Dean was arraigned Saturday night in Ramapo Town Court, where bail was set at one million dollars cash, five million fully secured bond, or ten million partially secured bond with a future court date of April 18th at 11:00 a.m. The judge also issued a stay-away order. The assailant was transported to the Rockland County Jail.
The victim of this horrific assault remains hospitalized in serious condition.
