Annual Airmont Keep Rockland Beautiful Community Cleanup Day

Airmont's annual Keep Rockland Beautiful Community Cleanup Day took place on Sunday, May 7.
Over 150 volunteers collected thirty bags of trash and debris, positively impacting the community and local environment.
Elected officials who volunteered their time to assist in the community cleanup included Airmont Mayor Nathan Bubel, Airmont Deputy Mayor Shimon Moses, Airmont Trustee Laurence O. Toole, Airmont Trustee Morris Friedman, Senator Bill Weber, Chestnut Ridge Trustee Chaim Rose and Ariel Dahan, Candidate for Rockland Legislature.
All the children who participated in the day's activities received soft ice cream from an ice cream truck and were entered into raffles, creating a positive experience and positive associations with the meaningful day's activities.
