All Clear After Person Barricades Himself Inside Stony Point Home

After a barricade situation that lasted nearly a full day, police officers have cleared a Stony Point home, and removed the suspect to Nyack Hospital, ending a full day saga.

Police officers from multiple neighborhoods as well as local sheriff departments responded to the scene of a domestic dispute involving a AR-15 firearm.

Pyngyp Road was closed off for most of the day as officers were negotiating with the suspect seeking to end the situation without any casualties.

At around 5:00pm the suspect was removed and transferred with a police escort to Nyack hospital.
