Achdus in New Hempstead as Women From Eight Shuls Gather for Tehillim and Inspiration

by M.C. Millman
Last night, the New Hempstead community held another Tehillim gathering attended by women and girls of all ages from eight different local shuls.
The evening was arranged as a zechus for yeshuos for Klal Yisroel.
The gathering was hosted by Knesses Yisroel on Union Road. Rebbetzin Rivka Senter addressed the crowd, offering chizuk and insight during these trying times.
During the evening, the entire Sefer Tehillim was completed sixteen times within 25 minutes by the more than a hundred women in attendance.
"It is very powerful to have such achdus in our community," Miriam Adelman, who organized the evening shares exclusively with Rockland Daily, "and seeing so many special women coming together to say Tehilim for the safety of Israel and yeshuos for Klal Yisroel b'ezras Hashem. Every little thing each person does is huge!"
Due to popular demand, the Tehillim gathering will be going weekly on Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m. at Knesses Yisroel with a different speaker each week.
