$300,000 in Funding Awarded to Rockland County Sheriffs Office

Rockland County Sheriff Louis Falco and County Executive Ed Day have allocated $300,000 to the Rockland County Sheriffs Office to purchase SWAT obstacle course equipment with a $75,000 grant and upgrade the Rockland County Firearms Range with $224,336. in funding. 

The SWAT obstacle course equipment comes from the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York (DASNY). The upgrade to the firearms range will be done by Action Target Inc., selected by the County's purchasing department as the company able to provide the best value in services for the range located in Haverstraw at 2 Short Clove Road.

These improvements will enhance the training of law enforcement officers throughout the County.
