Twenty-four Rockland elected officials signed an endorsement letter for State Senator Elijah Reichlin-Melnick given his track record after two years of service to the district as State Legislator in Albany and his long history of working hard for the needs of his frum constituents.
The letter relates how Senator Melnick met to discuss the unique concerns and needs of the frum community and committed to working hard to champion its causes. He has also committed to fighting for busing and finding real solutions to resolve the issues with the East Ramapo Central School District.
"I'm proud to endorse Elijah for reelection to the NYS Senate," Town of Ramapo Supervisor Michael Specht shared with Rockland Daily. "Elijah has been a hard-working and dedicated advocate in Albany for the residents of the Town of Ramapo and a great partner to the Town and its Villages. He is always there to help with any problem or issue and has brought millions of dollars in funding to the Town and Villages that will enhance public safety and quality of life for our community. I look forward to continuing to work with him on behalf of the people of the Town of Ramapo."
